    ~~ Update~~

The three companies that seemed to be possibilities all said no after talking to hubby's previous employer... Looks like he's out of the industry for a while... Not sure what we'll do now... If anyone knows of any job opps in MI that pay decent let me know.

    Thanks.

My aunt got a 61 in a 60 in the Oklahoma panhandle. Speedtrap central.

    I got a ticket on 1999 for 60 in a 55, thing is I was doing 75. cop cut me a break.

I got a ticket for 64 in a 55 just outside of Dysart, IA, back in 1984. Thing is, I was doing 97. State Trooper that pulled me over was a family friend and came over for dinner that night. Yeah, I was a stupid punk teenager at the time in my Dodge Charger.

    Default Tickets?

RCorrine....The best thing that ccould have happened was to get your husband off the road. Someone with only 1 year experience driving bad enough to get 4 moving violations should be sh*tcanned. Sounds to me that he is out of control. You gotta figure if he got caught 4 times he must be breaking the law lots more than that. So I would tell him to get used to saying "You want fries with that" on a regular basis. I for one know I feel safer without him on the road, although he will now be in a 4-wheeler driving to work at McDonalds everyday

Thank you very much for your positive attitude and constructive advice.

If you would have actually looked at the violations I listed you would have seen that none of them were that serious. The worst one, the 7 over, was because he was hurrying to get home to me because I was very ill.

I've ridden with him, and he is actually a good driver. He just happened to get caught the few times he did something stupid. Plain bad luck.

I'm sure you never ever went 5 over in your life. Or made any sort of mistake you looked back on and said "yeah, that was kinda dumb".

I'll be sure to tell my children we won't be able to afford the necessities of life because according to you all their father is good for is flipping burgers.

I came on here looking for help and advise.. I'm under enough stress as it is without having to deal with idiots like you!

Let's be honest here. If he got a ticket for 5 over that means he was probably 10 over and the cop gave him a break. And by the way, I have managed to tally up over 1 million miles in my career so far without so much of even something as serious as a parking ticket. Some people actually do consider themselves as professionals in this business. As for your husband he should just find a different career.

There are plenty of manufacturing and sales jobs out there that your husband can do. The comment about not being able to afford the necessities is a little dramatic. Forget about driving for now and get out there and find a job. If someone is willing to work there is work available. Start out by going to a temp agency. Any job is better than no job. A real man will do whatever it takes to take care of their family.

That many moving violations in a CMV in such a short time.... A Professional driving career would probably not be the best choice in careers for the OP.

I was driving up the US-69 in northeastern Oklahoma when i was greeted with flashing lights ...couldn't figure out why as I was only doing 60mph...turns out that with all the trucks parked on the shoulder of the road I never saw the reduced speed sign ..no Jake ,and the 50 mph . The officer wrote me for 10mph over and put a number on the ticket to call the officer said the 10 mph over carries either no points OR just 1 point ...I couldn't believe 10 over was just 1 0r less points , So i called the number on the 94$ ticket and sure enough in OK it is 1 point ...But with the payment of an additional 50$ they hold the ticket for 6 months and if you don't get another ticket in that county for that time the ticket vanishes...what a money maker let trucks park the shoulder obstructing the reduced speed sign and then issue tickets when a guy cruising a 4-lane US-HWY doesn't see the reduction right away ...However I have to admit i did not argue the 50$ fee and even though I knew I had been taken for a ride i felt like I got a deal when I found out my license will remain ticket/point free .
