Default Companies that will hire someone at age 19?

Does anyone know of any companies that will hire someone at age nineteen? (I won't be able to drive out of state)? I heard someone say that COI would hire just about anybody but they were hard to work for... :?:

    (BTW, I live in Georgia)

i was hired when i was 19 to haul sod here in florida, i've been doing it ever since, but our insurances just changed, and so have their requirements and now they require a years experience, and 21 years old. Good luck getting hired, hate to say it but i think you're gonna have a tough time, if you would have asked me 4 years ago i woulda said you might have a shot, but now with insurances being so strict you're gonna have a tough time. Just go drive a class D box truck or something if you wanna drive, and try again in a few years.

At age 19 you can only work intrastate (in-state) by federal law (398.3 c1), the companies have no control over that. Usually the ones who will hire you are small local companies. Check out the local newspaper or telephone book and start calling them. Good Luck!
If you think you can or you think you can't, either way you are right!

Doesn't matter where you have been, it's where you are going in life that counts!

Have you tried agricultural, wood products, construction, delivery (Pepsi/Coke), grocery companies? You don't say what part of Georgia you're in. BOL

There was a 19 year old girl in my class, she called everybody she could think of .... cement, dump, hotshot, beer distributors, pop distributors, construction etc etc.

she wound up being a bus driver at the airport.

you sure you can't wait a couple of years?
