    Default Miles

Dont know if this is the right forum but Ill ask anyway. What is the typical miles average ran in a month. Not an exact amount but something you would say is average. One driver my uncle had was saying 1500 is average but I am not sure. If anyone could clarify this I would appreciate it.

1,500 or 15,000? I averaged just under 10,200 miles per month including home time in my first six months with Crete. They want the company drivers to average at least 10,000 miles a month. So, I guess I'm average. I know some drivers average more. I don't overwork myself and run 100% legal though.

Oh no he said 1500 a week, he was with CRL. Judging by your figure of 10,200, I am going to assume he is below average.

I'd say 1500 is below the average. Of course, it depends what he's hauling and what his rate/mi is. 70cpm at 1500 mi/week is equal to 35cpm at 3000 mi/week Work smarter, not harder, right?

I think avg is around 22-2300 mi/wk. Its just a guess for freight guys, I typically run 300-3000 a week 8) (it vaies THAT much )

Thanks guys, I am relatively new to this so I am trying to find out as much info as possible. You guys know any good companies to lease a truck onto? Currently we are with CRL, Clarksville Refrigerated, but they are getting kind of sloppy with their work and we are looking for a change.
