How do I get disconts at Motels/Hotels

In Orange county California, I was shocked a LaQuinta was over 100 bucks, so I put on my puppy dog face and the guy gave it to me for 90 flat.

Just for the heck of it, I searched LaQuinta for that area, and got a rate of $55 - $60 per night with my Check Inn card. :wink:

Hell, I'm here in Kenner, Louisiana and I went into a LaQuinta, and for a 1 bed, single smallest sardeen can they could squeeze me into...$139.00...I asked her over and over, and kept re-iterating I wanted a 1 bed...I laughed, told her "eff that ****, and walked out"...another guy heard my convo, and turned around and headed out just as quick as he came in...said they were off their rocker to ask that kinda money.

I have a Check Inn card, and have never had a problem with it. All the hotels that you can use it at are listed on their website, and I have found their customer service to be just fine.

Rev.....I agree, even though I don't have one or have any need for one........I've heard nothing but positive things from other OTR drivers about it.
