    Default lookin for advice

I will make my final desicion this week and just looking for a little advice I currently work maintenance for a wastewater treatment plant for twelve years Taking about as much crap from the people i work for as comes in the plant . I make about 2768 amonth before all my deductions which brings it down to about 2100 . plus I am on call 24/7 even when on vaction which I get called in alot but very rarely when on vaction . I live in ohio near large automaker and their subsidaries so local driving jobs are all around also schneider has a o/o home daily rail freight jobs in marion about 70 miles from my house but all these jobs require 1 year exp. my father has been in trucking as o/o for 25 years so i have been around it almost all my life. so that being said can i make more than i am now driving the companies i am considering are tmc and millis. or should i stay where i am at and suffer thanks for any and all advice

If you are lucky you might be able to equal what you are making each month as far as gross pay goes. In a few years you might be able to top it, but do not expect it before you get a couple of years under your belt.

Another thing to look at is the quality of benefits you have now because many times the health insurance offered by trucking companies is expensive and not overly good.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
