any one know what the price is and can your regular DOCTOR do it ?

The doctor will have to be able to give you a DOT approved med card.

Why won't the company you're going to drive for give you the physical?

I'm going to run with my brother a O/O i haven't had a cdl in 9 years but now in NY stat you need to get a DOT physical be for you get a permit

The price of the physical will depend on what the doctor or clinic charges.

Currently a "regular" doctor, nurse practictioner, physician assistant can give DOT physicals if they are comfortable doing so.

Many family doctor's do not have the form on file but you can download and print out the complete package from http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/forms/forms.htm

We just took ours at a clinic in Michigan it was $52.00 each without a drug screen which the company is going to give you anyway.

Hey Ken - you wouldn't happen to be in SE Michigan would you? If so which clinic did you go to?

I live in NYC and Physical was $115.00, the permit fee at DMV was $40.00 and an additional $10.00 for the endorsements. Good luck to you future driver!!
