    Default Cellphone accesories

Got a question about cellphone accesories. I was wondering if they make a non Bluetooth FM transmitter that plugs into your cell phone then you cigarette lighter, so you can hear your conversation thru the stereo?

I think I found something online for 28 bucks that does this. A friend of mine says you can go to Bestbuy or Circuit City for something like this.

    Anyone use anything like this?

    Thanx

I got one a couple years ago, but it was just awful. Here is a link to a similar version:

    Problems?
1.) The microphone clamped over the cell phone speaker hole. The quality of the sound it picked up was very poor.
2.) The contraption stuck into the cigarette lighter with several adjusting knobs that did not stay in the correct position.
3.) It was difficult to connect and disconnect.
4.) There was feedback from the car stereo back into the cell phone.

    Best solution in my opinion?
Spring for the Bluetooth ear piece. It's handsfree and a lot more convenient.
I'm not nearly as think as you confused I am!

Radio Shack sells a wireless FM transmitter you can plug into the phones headphone jack and it's pretty cheap. You may have to experiment with it. I'm thinking it may disable your microphone on the phone.
