You can get a flare gun that looks just like a magic marker. You unscrew the cap and pull a little chain and shoot them in the face. Or you can do it 81 style and carry a ball peen hammer.

I just hand them some of the cookies that my wife made before leaving out on the road and they're down on the ground chucking up a good one. Don't tell my wife I said that though.

I have a little midget named spanky, he is an expert in kung fu (praying mantis style). I keep him bungee corded to the cat walk while I'm driving but when I stop for break he guards the truck while I sleep. He has a devastating round house kick that will take out your knee caps.
And the road becomes my bride
I am stripped of all but pride
So in her I do confide
    And she keeps me satisfied
    Gives me all I need

Most renters policy's will cover stuff in your sleeper no matter where it is. Read your policy. The big benefit is personal liability. If someone sues you they normally provide legal defense.

Well, the best weapon is one you're required to carry anyway. I would use the fire extinguisher. One blast to the face will leave them gasping for air as the contents robs the oxygen from their lungs.

A couple of flaws to using this though....

One, they could realise what you are doing, and simply hold their breath. At that point, just hit them with it, and hope they don't have a gun.
Two, you get a very good shot, and they breath it in. At that point, they stand very damaged, or dead. Lots and Lots of red tape and paperwork.

Of course, if you fire it off while you're inside the truck, be sure to hold your breath.

I guess weapons can be made from just about anything inside your truck....
Deja moo. It's when you feel you have heard this BS before.

I carry Trojan's for protection. I could *really* lie and say they're Magnum's, but that'd be like parking a VW Beetle in a 4 stall garage.
Wanna play a couple online games that are absolutely free? These are the games I play on a very regular basis:
Battle of the West & Mobs Law

I have a 3 cell mag light, that will knock someone OUT!
I carry a small pocket knife on me all the time.
I got a couple more knifes in back
There's a 3 pound sledge by the drivers seat.
    Fire extinguisher
    pocket pens
Just about anything can be a weapon depending on the situation.
They can have my truck and trailer, but not my or my wife's life if I can do anything about it.
