Trucker poems
"THE MISTRESS" my mistress is a vision in white, that keeps me away, and out very late night after night. tonite she will call and i will go, once again leavin my wife to sleep alone. my mistress, to my daugter is the one she has come to hate, for she keeps daddy away and out very late. this spring i will get a new vision in white, and once again she will keep me away night after night. (i drive a 2004 mack vision and it is white and refered to as my mistress by wife and daughter) |

EIGHTEEN WHEELERS
With eighteen wheels they haul freight, along this great nations interstates, from l.a. to miami, from maine to oregon. among the thousands are a few, who won't hesitate to tell you, there ain't nowhere i ain't been, ain't nothing i ain't done. by nast bob(my dad) |

" i am a american trucker" i run this great nations interstates, delivering all kinds of freight, i deliver the food you eat, and the shoes on your feet. i stay out for two weeks straight, to make sure you get your freight. i run from coast to coast and state to state, and do the best i can not to be late. I am currently working on a book called " life through a windshield" and hope to finish it
someday, it is a combination of mine and my fathers poems and stoies ( he drove for 20+ years) and mine ( 14+ years and still going) plz let me know if you like them i have plenty more and would be glad to share with you. THANK YOU FOR LOOKIN!!!!!! |
