    Default Heart healthy Trail mix

This mix I make up every month and break up into smaller airtight containers. I keep this mix within reach while driving. A handful every hour or two throughout day curbs my appetite, feeds my sweet tooth while providing me with omega rich nutrients, minerals and fibre.

    1lb container of unsweetened raisins
2lbs of unsalted (lightly salted) mixed nuts with less peanuts
    1/2 lb of chopped prunes
handfuls of dried fruits that are naturally dried without sugar and nitrates

The last ingredient is optional and hard to find without making your own with a dehydrater.
Just toss them together, add more of a nut your prefer, almonds are best
then store in large potions. I reuse the canisters the nuts and raisins come in.

Drink lots of water and green tea through the day. You will eat less junk food and have healthy movements

    Swollen ankles....
This symptom can be the effects of a serious condition. It's best to rule this out with your Doctor. Not trying to alarm you, but only your Doctor should give you advice on something like this. Any symptom if recognized early is the smart way to health.

I recommend seeing an Internist, not a General MD, and make sure you get some blood work for a good look see.
