Help!! A friend injured in TN....
Hi everyone,
A good friend of mine went to Memphis to visit and ended up falling off of a rooftop, shattering his heel bone and tibia
Because he has no health insurance and is not a resident of TN, the ER gave him a plastic leg/ankle brace and told him he needs to see a Orthopedic surgeon/doctor ASAP - but there wasn't a whole lot they can do there because of the lack of insurance and residency.
He can't afford to pay for the bus ride back to Springfield, MA and being on a bus with a unset broken leg for 30+ hours would be too much for anyone.
So now, I am turning to you guys asking for help - I grew up around truckers - I know what a great bunch of people you are.
IF there is anyone going from Memphis, TN to New England - ( needs to end up in Springfield, but I can drive to get him in CT, VT, ....if I need to.
He can pay about $50.00 and is a great traveling companion.
