my dad
please say a prayer for my dad and my family. my dad has had a hard time remembering things and seems to be having some depression issues. they went to the neurologist today. the doctor told him that he had to stop working due to his problems remembering things. the doctor is going to increase his medication to help with his memory. until now, my mom didn't tell me what he was taking. he is taking aricept. aricept is used to help improve memory and slow down the symptoms of alzheimer's.
as you know, times are hard and you are lucky if you have a job. my parents are going to take a trip to the philippines in feb. and my mom tells me this might be his last trip. i am hoping that what my dad has aren't the early signs of alzheimer's, but the doctor says his memory won't improve. all the doctor can say is that he has a form of dementia, but nothing more specific.
thank you in advance.

It's so easy to get depressed when you know something might be wrong. I hope the trip does him a ton of good.

THE MIRACLE PRAYER *
Holding a Crucifix (any size), say this Prayer faithfully, no matter how you feel, when you come to the point where you sincerely mean each word, with all your heart something good spiritually will happen to you. You will experience Jesus, and HE will change your whole life in a very special way You will see.
Lord Jesus, 1 come before You, just as 1 am. 1 am sorry for my sins, 1 repent of my sins, please forgive me. In Your Name, 1 forgive all others for what they have done against me. 1 renounce satan, the evil spirits and all their works. 1 give You my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever. 1 invite You into my life, Lord Jesus. 1 accept You as my Lord, God and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul and spirit.
Come Lord Jesus, cover me with Your Precious Blood, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. 1 Love You, Lord Jesus. 1 Praise You, Jesus. 1 Thank You, Jesus. 1 shall follow You every day of my life. Amen. Mary my mother, Queen of Peace, all the Angels and Saints, please help me. Amen.
god bless you and yours..........

Bandit's Dad
Got a call from my dad on Monday morning when I was in witchita... He told me he was in intensive care down in Phoenix, AZ and took an ambulance ride in the night before.
Turns out, he has an AVM, which pretty much is a artery with veins tangled in it or something. On top of that, he has a detached retina. When it rains it pours.
I boogied booty out of Wichita, KS to Phoenix nonstop to go to the hospital. They ended up releasing him, but brain surgery is probably going to be probable. If he does nothing, there's a 30% chance he can die. If he does the surgery, there's a 70% chance he'll lose all vision.
Anyways, he goes to have the retina surgery in a few hours, which is really minor, and and outpatient procedure. It's the brain thing that has him worried. Anyone ever hear of this problem>>>?
Anyways, it sucks because he's an o/o with Allied and kind of needs to see to work. Luckily, hhg is still lagging and not ready to pick up for a good 2 months.
I'll keep you guys posted.

sorry to hear about your dad. it's tough when faced with the prospect of losing your livelihood. just don't be afraid to ask questions about the brain surgery during the surgical consult. it's his health you are talking about. if your family has concerns express them to the doctors. if you want a second opinion, don't be afraid to get one.
