Default Hey I think I like it here!

I am new to this forum and I have to say I like it. I'll tell you why I like it. If I want a brutally honest answer I know I can ask it here.
I am also a member of another trucker's wives forum and it is too sugar coated sappy and sweet.
I know I probably won't be called sweety, hun, babe. (if I do I'll forgive ya)
I'm pretty sure no one will send "huggles" my way.
I thank you for that in advance.

Anyways, my husband has only been driving for one and a half years. He drives for a company that delivers Wal-Mart trailers to stores. We've been married over twenty years and have 3 kids.
I did have trouble adjusting to him being gone all the time for about the first six months, but then it got better.
I like the fact that we rarely have a disagreement and have only argued once or twice in the last 18 months!
I am so happy to see him when he comes home we are like honeymooners again. Somehow this crazy life works for us. Although I wouldn't mind him getting more hometime more often.

I look forward to poking around this site and learning more.

Welcome!
I'm glad you like it here. I have never been sent a huggles or been called honey here in this forum. Some are brutally honest, they are just telling you like it is or what they really think. And there are other times when you wished you never asked the question because of some of the answers you get , just be prepared. A good bunch of people here and plenty of comedians  .

Trukrswyfe is on the right path. You could probably safely loan them a quarter.

Kbraut, not a popular company around here but I'll tell you anyways. CREngland, company driver.

(Before people start throwing things!)

He wants to hang in there for a full two years before looking to get on with a better company. Six months to go.....they say the first year is the hardest!

Peace out
