    Default Goodbye 'swift'

Hubby gave them his notice today(IF they get him home on time, he starts new job in 2 weeks). He'll be driving for a co. in the Twin Cities, but it won't be OTR ( I think he's bummed about that coz he really likes OTR).He'll be Home every night, More $ and I'm sure they'll treat him better than Swift did.

I would hope he is treated better.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

I bet your excited to have him home, all kidding aside. Right??? I have been filling out apps online with dozens of companies just to get mine home. I am really happy for you. One place seems really interested (we will see).

Yeah, that'll be nice to see him more than once every 35-42 days. The bad part will be his new commute; we only have 2 gas guzzlin' pick-ups @ the moment, just in time for the new gas prices :?

That might work out for the best, since he wants to be OTR. Some truckers don't do well driving local. I have heard some that do get home every night basically get back just in time to grab something to eat, and then crash and burn before they have to start everything all over again.

This way it sounds he will hopefully get a solid two if not three days in for the weekend, and time to enjoy his family.

    Wishing you all the best.
