Ratatouille was good. I liked it. Seemed different than the other Pixar films, but it was good.

The new Pirates is also good. Surely, they will make another one. They have to!

I will give      to the movie, No Country for Old Men. My wife, and I watched it tonight. We just got home.
Tommy Lee Jones plays a sheriff of a west Texas town. He is so funny, and the movie is very exciting. Keeps ya on the edge of your seat, but....the end sucks! Everyone in the theater was like, what?!?
Very good movie, but at the end, no point.

The guy is single and writes sleezy smut on the internet. And has very interesting relationships with females. Huh. Wasn't really all that great but funny coincidences.

Ratatouille made me hungry as I was watching it. I wanted to go eat at some fine restaurant and have a gourmet meal.

I enjoyed "American Dreamz". A farce on the American Idol show.

All three of the Lord of the Rings movies =

That constituted one of my greatest movie watching experiences. We scored tickets to the back to back to back pre-release showing of the third one. So we got to watch the extended version of the 1st one, the extended version of the 2nd one, and then the first showing of the 3rd one, all in the same day and night at a brand-new stadium-seating theatre. Talk about epic!

On that note, Peter Jackson was signed a couple of weeks ago to direct the Hobbit in not one, but TWO movies. WHOO HOOO! Can't wait for that!

Other movies I would consider excellent, easily      movies:

Groundhog Day (one of my favorites)

    Scrooged

    Die Hard

Any of the Star Wars movies (we're big fans)

    Independence Day

The Matrix (first one only...the others weren't anywhere near as good)

Mr. Holland's Opus (the one movie guaranteed to make me cry, no matter how many times I've see it, and it's been quite a few.)

Pirates of the Carribean...I loved all three of them.

There are certainly others, too. We are going to see I Am Legend tonight...I have no doubt I'll be ranking that up there with my favorites, too.

We saw "I Am Legend" last night.

Easily one of the most disturbing and terrifying movies I've ever seen. Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic.   Definitely a movie where you'll go home and sleep with the lights on.

I've heard some rumblings that he might get tapped for an Academy Award nomination for that movie. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Really? Well, I may have to watch that one. We thought about seeing that one, but we've seen some of the others.

Twilight Flyer, if you like Tommy Lee Jones, go see "No Country For Old Men."

You know what was so cool about I Am Legend? No blood, no brutal head-ripping violence. It was just so believable and so well-acted...I've got claw marks in my left arm from where my wife grabbed me an held on. Gore-freaks looking for gallons of blood will probably be disappointed. But this movie scares worse than any other movie I've ever seen, slasher or none, and I don't scare easily.

Can't wait to see it again.

One movie that I enjoy watching again and again is "American Beauty". It's a little off the beaten path, but great.

Maybe my tastes in movies are just on the weird side.

Anybody see Farce of the Penguins? It's a spoof of March of the Penguins. Very funny stuff...
