Do you remember this kids movie (it is older...but it's my favorite movie that the kids had...)..."Iron Giant". I loved that movie.

The Man with No Name strikes again!

Clint Eastwood! He directs, and stars in Gran Torino. I just saw the preview on TV.
He's a Korean War veteran. He gets involved with an oriental gang, when one of them tries to steal his Gran Torino.

I don't think my wife would care for this one, but I'm thinking about seeing this one.

    Here's the preview from IMDB.

i saw 'marley and me' this past weekend. i loved it. i read the book too. we are on our 2nd labrador. they all weren't as bad as marley. although the current one had chewed through 3 LL Bean dog beds when he was a pup.

Adjustment Bureau and Unknown....... couldn't help wondering if the car accident in Unknown was an 'adjustment'. And if angels are really adjust BI agents, that can't fly and need hats...... sucks to be one of them.

Unknown was like an old man version of Jason Borne.

When I think great movies I think The Godfather, The Graduate, stuff like that. But when I'm in the mood to sit down and watch something I almost always reach for a comedy.

    Here's a few that I liked:

    My Cousin Vinny
Office Space (did you get that memo?)
    The Ref
    Something About Mary
    What About Bob?

What about The Mist, based on Stephen King's short story with the same title. That is the worst ending ever.

There are many movies I can recommend. For example I saw Hunger Games, Jane Eyre and Hugo Cabret lately. They were great! I can also recommend The Secretary was also a nice movie.
    I also liked Bad Teacher!
Thanks for sharing all the nice movie recommendations! I plan to see some Stephen King movies now!
