your first response to my inquiry as to why so many truckers out there have a spat about california came off as a bit hostile. i cannot tell whether somebody is being sarcastic, serious, or whatever. i'm still curious as to why so many don't run cali. i simply don't get "it". whatever "it" is. it's an easy ass state to run, the cops don't care if you're going more than 55mph, most of the time, as long as you're not in the hammer lane for longer than you're supposed to be, and aren't driving like a *****, and the traffic isn't difficult to deal with as long as you're not in the right lane for the whole entire time. also, the anti-idling law isn't really being enforced since it's the summer time. i imagine it's being enforced in the bay area because that part of that state is pretty ass-backwards.

as for spousal abuse, as i've stated, it can happen in just about any family background, regardless of religious background.

as for cali's problems with money, that is why i live in arizona. property taxes are affordable, one isn't paying $800+ for a one bedroom apartment, english must be known for all state tests, no interpreters will be allowed, i voted "yes" for that proposition in 2004, by the way. i was also tired of having allergies galore in califronia. living in arizona is much cheaper and i enjoy the dry heat for most of the year until monsoon season comes around and the humid junk comes in.

Now, that's a bit different. Why don't truckers want to run CA? You've been out here long enough, haven't you? Or are you always jammin' on the stereo? Listen to the drivers on the CB once in a while. Two states are considered COMMUNIST STATES, and OH is one.

Also, drivers from 47 states are used to exit numbers, but CA doesn't think that important. I've talked to a number of drivers that have said they got lost because of that. CA does not conform with the rest of the country.

i learned how to drive my car in california. i became used to the street exits rather than mile markers and the occasional exit number.

yes, i'm always jamming with my stereo cranking. it's much better than listening to a bunch of yahoos spewing garbage from their mouths. the cb is unreliable when it comes to correct information. i have a tendency to ignore negative people. i don't want their negativity to affect me in any way. it doesn't matter how much of a mental block i have. with enough of that crap, it can and will get to me.

as for ohio, yeah, that state blows. however, if i get something going to or from there, i'll take it because it's money to me. i'd rather be mashing on the motorway than at some truck stop, or company terminal, and whining to other drivers about not making enough.
