Is that where you have to give something up?

I guess if I must choose something to give up.....

does it have to be food? Or can it be an act?

I'm not Catholic... I just love the Catholic school girl outfits.

My husband likes them too, well on me that is

The date of the feast is occasionally moved by church authorities when March 17 falls during Holy Week; this happened in 1940 when Saint Patrick's Day was observed on 3 April in order to avoid it coinciding with Palm Sunday, and is happening again in 2008, being observed on 15 March.[2] March 17 will not fall during Holy Week again until 2160.[3]

Well I'm not Catholic but I am Irish!
I hate it when those Catholics think they can go and change everything!

BTW I went to Catholic High School and I'm with you Mommee, hated those uniforms! The only time I've worn one since was for a Community Theater production of "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Reflect Up?"

An Irish Blessing to you all...

    Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad.
    But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.

    Always remember to forget
    The friends that proved untrue.
    But never forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.

    Always remember to forget
    The troubles that passed away.
    But never forget to remember
The blessings that come each day.
