Snake story

I was out fishing a while back,it was very hot out but I was catching fish pretty good. I used my last minnow but still needed a couple fish to fill out my limit. I opened a beer and wondered what to do when I spied this little snake swimming by with a minnow in its mouth. I got a brilliant idea so I reached over and grabbed that little snake but try as I might he would not let go of that minnow. After a minute I grabbed my beer and poured a little on that snakes head thinking it might make him let go. Sure enough it worked. He dropped the minnow, I let him go and went back to fishing. About 5 minutes later I heard a tapping on side of the boat. Well,lo and behold there was that little snake with another minnow.

And, if you'd given him some of the GOOD beer, you wouldn't even have to use a rod... :wink:

And if you'd just chopped that little snake up into 6 tiny pieces of bait, you could have filled out your limit AND kept all your beer for yourself!!
