1. It is illegal to hunt camels in the state of Arizona.

2. Before the enactment of the 1978 law that made it mandatory for dog owners in New York City to clean up after their pets, approximately 40 million pounds of dog excrement were deposited on the streets every year.

3. In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania it is illegal to have sex with a truck driver inside a tollbooth.

4. In Kentucky, it is illegal to transport an ice cream cone in your pocket.

5.In Louisana, it is illegal to rob a bank and then shoot at the bank teller with a water pistol.

6. In Massachusetts, snoring is prohibited unless all bedroom windows are closed and securely locked

7. In Florida, if an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle.

8. In New York State it is still illegal to shoot a rabbit from a moving trolley car.

9. In Los Angeles courts it is illegal to cry on the witness stand.

10. In Chicago, Illinois, it is illegal to fish in pajamas.

11.Hornytown, North Carolina has banned all massage parlors.

12. In Alabama it is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.

13. In Hartford, Conn., it's illegal to plant a tree in the street.


14. In the state of Washington it's illegal to catch a fish by throwing a rock at it.

15. It's against the law in Fairbanks, Alaska to give a moose a beer.

What's bad is, you know they only put those laws in the books because someone just had to try it.

North Carolina in General

Also in NC, it is illegal for a woman who weighs over 300 lbs to ride a horse while wearing short pants. While across the border in VA it is illegal to talk under water.

There was a law in CT that any male member of a family, over the age of 10 had to carry a shotgun to church to pretect the congregation from indian attack.

TN had a law that if a man's wife was driving a car, he had to run down the street in front of her waving a red flag and warning everyone that his wife was driving.

PA had a law that if a horsless carriage came to an intersection, the driver had to stop before the intersection and shoot a shotgun in all four directions to warn any horses that a car was crossing through the intersection.

In VA, you will be ticketed for honking your horn per the Aggressive Driving law.

You are to flash your lights to signal a slower moving vehicle to move out of the passing lane, BUT, you can be ticketed for doing that under the Aggressive Driving law.

I have yet to see anything against using the Chrome Horn or per Jeff Foxworthy, get up under them, get the air off their rear end and spin them out of the way.

Don't know if they still have it, but Pigeon Forge, TN had a law like that about 10 years ago. Think it was, if the police saw you pass by more than once in 10-15 minutes, they would ticket you. Something about cruising the strip and clogging traffic.
