For the past year, been sitting on my arse, waiting for another driving job.
For the next year, still be sitting on my arse, waiting for another driving job.

Being cursed with a CDL is bull, can no longer get a job at a local convience store or get a janitorial job.

I have 1 major anouncement to any recuiters for C.R. England that reads this board:

F*** YOU

No thanks to this company, I AM and I WILL BE out of work until my CDL expires. I'm beyond mad, i'm beyond pissed...I WILL NEVER, EVER, send a newbie to this company for any reason.

I recently got my DAC report and what i read is bogus.
What is on it is a 10-35 (Confidential Information).

That is why i am showing so much hostility towards C.R. England.

Exactly my point, i got bills to pay, a mouth to feed (mine), finding work is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I hate dumpster diving, it puts a little money in my pocket. If and when another trucking company "gives me a chance", i know for a solid fact i am not gonna blow it.

Why is cad attracting the seedier element now days.

What brings this on???

I will admit that Largecars post lacked finesse but he does bring up a valid point, way too many threads have been hijacked and twisted so badly that the original topic seems to get lost.

This one is going the same way but not for long. The original post still lacks some essential elements to make any sense out of it. Yes England does SUCK period.

A little bit more off topic: If you think a seedier element has landed here try a few of the other trucker sites and if some folks get their feelings hurt now they wouldn't last a minute on at least two of the other sites!

One more item: I, for one, am getting a little pissed at the emails and private messages I've been getting regarding some of the posts on this board and it's usually over some real stupid ****, ie one liners that have no relevance to the original post, posts just to raise the posters count, etc.
Some of the trivial stuff could be sent by Private Message, that's what it is there for...

If this thread can't stay on course It'll be locked!!!

Oh one more thing: If it seems someone pissed in my corn flakes, THEY HAVE!!!

WOW  I musta missed something while I was nursing Gladys. Anyway, I think companies like JB Hunt (from personal experience) and England must have part ownership in DAC/whoever they are now. It seems they can get away with reporting anything - even if DAC is a CSR and is SUPPOSED to be run that way. As far as England goes - never had any first hand dealing, but never had a very good impression of them either.

Enough about C.R. England...

Within the last 2 weeks, CRST is giving me an opportunity to get rehired.
However, the recuiter is giving me the run around, saying the same thing 2 weeks in a row. I told him i am willing and able to take a refresher course to work out a few kinks since i've been off the road.

With Christmas coming up, i can see the run around and it being the slow season. However, i need money this very minute.

Geesh Doc he was only Joking!!

I hope you do find a job. I've been in your shoes before and sometimes it's just downright tough to find something. But you have to do what you have to do to get money coming in. I'm not proud of some of the jobs I did but at least I did bring home a paycheck. I'm sure you will find something.

And this means what??? I knew he was playing..

All of a sudden it's becoming painfully clear that no matter what happens from now to the end of the year there is going to be no pleasing anyone!!

Have you considered looking into driving something local like a gas tanker or dump wagon until you can get the DAC mess straight?

A few Owner Operators have been calling me lately, some ask for 1 year.
Some others ask for a clean MVR, I do not have that either.

I'm cursed, no matter what i do.

I might as well get this off my chest.

Yes, i did have an accident in a C.R. England Truck, it happened up in Ogden, Ut. on 10/28/2003. The b***ards had the gaul to slap it on my DAC on 10/18/2004, almost 1 year after i left the company.

In my honest opinion, that is a major screw job if i ever saw one. According to section 391.15 of the Safety Regulations handbook, i am suppose to spend exactly 365 days off the road from the time of the accident is reported to the company and of the police. This is my first and only CDL driving offense, my MVR is clean as a whistle, my DAC isn't so clean. However, this accident happened at the Pilot there in Ogden, Utah. which has an L shaped parking lot to the left after you come out of the fuel island. It was a small lot and i took it as wide as the lot would allow me to make that left hander. Someone PLEASE explain me why i have to wait 2 years for a 1 year offense :?:

Don't know about the DAC but, and i hate to sound like a hard-ass) there is no excuse for getting in an accident in Truck Stops-no matter what the circumstances-
