Hello Ya'll,
I'm looking for some information about how to structure compensation for a carrier that want's to lease on and run under my authority. I currently have 3 trucks that I own and have drivers in them.
I haul specialized freight so this would require me leasing a 4th trailer.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks and safe travels!

You need a trailer? I have a 53 foot air ride dry van.

Is he responsible for dispatching himself?
Paying his own insurance?
What if he leaves you after a year and you have 2 years left on your trailer lease?
What if he keeps a little book of all your customers and steals them?
IMO, unless you HAVE to do this in order to keep customers, I would ask myself how much will I take home from this extra headache. I imagine you stand to lose more than you gain.

Krissel,
Is this your guy or one that RW found for you? If he did be careful. I will email you a percentage contract boilerplate and you can alter it as needed. I just have to find it.
