Down the line I plan on going tthese areas to visit. As far as Idaho Falls and Bismarck how is it as far a parking your truck? Strict? Any good truck stops/areas that will let you park it there for a few days? Now for NYC where would you park your truck if you were going to visit NYC the weekend lets say where would you park your truck? Thanks for and tips and advice.

I have never been to either Idaho Falls or Bismark, but if I needed to leave my truck somewhere close to the NYC for a couple of days I would probably just park in the Vince Lombardi and take the public transportation over. The company I used to work for had a terminal in Jersey City so I never really had a problem with parking though.

I second the "Vince" for parking near NYC. It's free.

I have never actually found an open spot at the Vince Lombardi. I guess wrong time of day?

I use to get to the "VINCE" before noon. Even then parking was limited but you could find one.

ahh, I've been to that one. Got access to both nb and sb from there and it's tough to find parking there but it's doable. I've stopped there several times.

for the city you could always park in the goethals bridge wide load staging lot (off bayway ave.), take a taxi to liberty and then a shuttle into the city. that lot isn't fenced but it is out in the open so i don't think anyone would bother you. i've only parked there long enough to take a nap, so i don't know for sure.

or

call hudson county motors (http://www.hudsoncountymotors.com/contactus.html) and see if they would let you park there. it's fenced in and only say @ a mile walk to the secaucus junction train station. exit 15X. they're at the beginning of the industrial park off of seaview, so it's a decent area. you wouldn't have any trouble walking around there in the daytime.
