Hey everybody. Mike is buying a new truck. Which was more frightening this one from Duel or the one from Maximum Overdrive?

Duel, because I was like 8 yrs old watching that. In Maximum Overdrive I was just hoping to see the hot chick naked. :)

Is that the truck that was used to try and kill a guy who was played by Dennis Weaver?

Yeah, GMAN.... that's the one. Movie called DUEL with Dennis Weaver. I think the sinister truckdriver was played by Belpre! ;)

if you remember at the end, the truck went off a cliff and ended up in flames, so it was obviously Rev driving:lol:

Wouldn't good ol' CARB have a field day with that truck.

You used 'good' and 'CARB' together in the same sentence? What the crap?!?!?!
(For those who don't know, CARB here refers to the California Air Resources Board.) That truck was from the day when Peterbilt's headquarters were actually in California, not Texas.
Also, that was in the days before diamond-shaped placards were commonplace.

Duel was Spielberg's first movie.

I'd love to have that truck. It'd be my grocery getter.
