I mean your exhaust stacks from the soot buildup? i've got a truck with a ReGen system, so the buildup gets cooked and blown out the top. the result, streams of black soot down my exhaust pipe.

gotta be something one can buy to clean that crap....anyone?

I use Mequiars All Wheel Cleaner to clean my tanks, stacks, wheels and other chrome on my truck. It does a good job.

Try Super Clean (in the big purple jug at Walmart). Dilute it to about 50-50 and use a spray bottle and a brush. Rinse very well.

There are some things in life that you just don't need to know....that was one of them.

they do make donut brushes to clean the stacks. I've used black diamond on my harley and it works fine on the chrome.

some of these pic's are questionable. A warning would be nice. I am glad one of my 6 kids were not looking at my comp when I was reading posts.

Might want to try some brake cleaner, works wonders on the nose of the trailer to remove soot too.
