I've found their lifespan to be about 6 months give or take a few weeks...
A friend recommended another product (also at WalMart). His at the time was 1 1/2 yrs old and still working great.
Same concept except with TWO cooling fans...

You may want to read all the reviews on that NuCool fridge before running out and buying one.

Really Now. I have had mine for over 10 years. And the only thing I have had go wrong is the plugin which I just cut off and replaced.
I have one that is 13 years old. It is still doing well.

I love Coleman products and have used them for many, many years and will continue to do so.
But I also have TWO of the coolers with fried motors at my house...neither made it much past 6 months. I won't bother with another one of those.

Are you guys having any problems with the Power Chill draining your batteries?

If I leave my cooler running for 12 hours or more with the truck shutdown, the trucks battery saver kicks in and shuts down all the accessories so that it has enough power to start the engine.

The newer model Colemans vs. the older model Coleman coolers aren't worth a crap. If you get six months out of them you did good.
