Default Political Stuff

OK, some of you have asked for a political section. Perhaps we can start with this thread and see how it goes. Post anything that has to do with politics here.

Politics is like the weather. There's a whole lot of talk about it, but not much you can actually do about it. For that matter, it's easier to prepare for the weather than politics.

And, for all the talking we do between ourselves, both here and on the CB, it will do no good at all unless the sentiments expressed have a way to get to the public and the politicians.

And, unfortunately, you can expect that there will be no economic turn-around during this 4 year term. Business as usual.

Very interesting. Ya never know the outcome. This thread could add up to about 100 pages in no time, or it could be locked in no time.

I don't know a whole lot about politics. I base my voting on the politician's beliefs, and where they stand.
I am a Conservative Republican. I believe that God created marriage between a man and a woman. I do not support abortion. I believe that once you have a conception, that fetus is a live human being. If a doctor is performing an abortion, you might as well let all the murderers out of prison, because that's exactly what the doctor is doing. Only difference is, the doctor has his degree, and getting well paid. Whoever came up with that idea aughta be shot.
I can sing the National Anthem, and I can quote the Pledge of Allegiance. I love living in a country where we are Free. I am proud to be an American, and I am proud to have our military defending our great Nation.
