Got the bad news today about my dads (liver) cancer; they are only giving weeks or a few short months left to live:(:(

This is new, unwelcomed territory for me, I have never lost anyone close to me.:(

I am so sorry to hear that news. I have lost all of my grandparents and many uncles and aunts. I don't know what it would do to me to lose a parent, though. I pray that you have peace through this....keeping your family in my prayers.

sorry to hear that. i hope the comming weeks / months give you some good memories of your dad. i hope you get to spent lots of time with him. i couldn't begin to imagine what you are going thru. best wishes.

I hated today; we took him to the VA hospice in St.Cloud where he will remain until the end; I feel so sick about leaving him up there like that, but mom cannot care for him anymore, its way too hard. I will go up and see him as much as I can, and of course I can call him too. This just really sucks:(:(:(

Sorry to hear about your Dads diagnosis, and our prayers are with you and your family. Like Freebird said, try and spend as much time with him as you can! I lost my Dad in a truck accident when I was 12. I still regret all of the things that I was never able to tell him.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is a big one when a girl loses her daddy. I hope the loving memories of him help you through.

My condolences and prayers are with you.

I have recently lost my brother to cancer. My mother is in the final stage of schleradema, and is getting closer.
