i felt like blowing 12 bucks at the T/A and bought 2 front hubcaps for the columbia. i grabed the 5 notchers. i brought it outside and was tooling around with it and couldnt get the damn thing to fit on there. i put the notched areas around the obvious groves on the hub.one side would slide in flush, but then the other side was botched up. i tried to gently knock it in place and dented the living **** outta them. is there a trick? and do you need to use those little clips its comes with., because without them i got it to fit on good but was worried it would fall off after 5 miles. any insite?

you have to use the clips, you need to look at one that has been put on properly, it's kind of hard to figure out how they go on the first time

As a Columbia driver myself I wanted to say congratulations on doubling the value of your truck. Whats next? Naked lady mudflap weights?

You can put all the chrome they make on a Freightliner, but it's still a Freightliner. :p

I did the same thing with my mack. My boss bought them for me. I messed them up bad tryin to get them on. He just laughed and when my truck was at mack for a recall i picked up my truck and they were on there. My boss told mack to have them put it on. I still dont know how they did it.

tsk tsk tsk. Now I know why they can't adjust their own headlights these days. How hard is popping on a hubcap?
