Don't see much talk on here about baseball. Anybody watching the Series? I think the Rays just squeaked in and don't deserve to be there. I got Philly all the way! Any takers?

 

Why would the Rays not deserve to be there? They won their division, had the 3rd best record in all of baseball, and clocked everyone in the playoffs.

I'm not following it really closely this year, but I'm glad that it's anyone other than the Yankees or the Red Sox. Should go 7 games...I think the Rays will pull it out in the end.

 

They "clocked" the Sox?? Weren't they down 3 to 1?? Almost extinct? What was there record for the past few years? And they would have never got by the Sox if Manny was still there!

I don't really follow baseball (or basketball for that matter) until it DOES get to the playoffs.... so, I'm just talkin here! :lol2:

But, I gotta say I've been impressed by the Phillies! Haven't really gotten the chance to watch any of the Rays games. Cinderella story is what I'm hearing though.

Yeah, it's good to NOT here the Yankees mentioned! 7 games will be fine by me. I just like a GOOD argument! But, I'm sticking with the Phillies.

Rays were up 3-1 against the Sox and I agree the Rays deserve to be there. They play in a very tough division and beat them all.

 

Oh yeah.... that's right! I remembered it wrong! Now, I remember wondering WTF happened to the SOX?? I couldn't believe they were down and nearly out.... but then they came back and took it to game 7, right?

So, I was giving the RAYS too much credit for coming back!

Like I said, don't know why but I saw ALL the Phillies/Dodgers games, but missed ALL the Rays/Sox games!

Thanks for setting me straight..... and, Okay... maybe the Rays deserve to be there. No skin off MY teeth! (of course, the Sox didn't have Manny!)

I'd like to see the Rays win because it's been a Cinderella season for the. They went from worst (last year) to first, with a chance to take it all this year. Be a good story and trust me...baseball needs a good story to build from.
