PETA Urges Ben & Jerry's To Use Human Milk (http://www.wptz.com/news/17539127/detail.html)

My husband told me about that last night. It is gross. It will never fly though. The body makes the milk specifically for your baby's needs. So, the formula is different all the time. Ben and Jerry's would never get the consistency they would need.

Who ever thought of that wasn't thinking.

I know it could never fly...even if it did, Ben and Jerry's would soooo be out of business at that point. I mean...I nursed every one of my kids...but that is TOTALLY different. It's not like I served up all the extra to the others! Ewwww......

Since when has anyone at PETA ever used their brain?

PETA has to be a group of the dumbest morons on the face of the planet. Nothing I hear from them surprises me anymore.

So their proposal is to replace the cows at dairy farms with women? I don't see how else it would work -- or even then. Genetic engineering of women capable of producing a couple of gallons of milk per day? How about bypassing women entirely, and just clone some massive breasts that milk themselves?

PETA is so far beyond a joke. They have become a parody of themselves.

I can see it now. Instead of a "MILKING PARLOR", we switch to a "MILKING MOTEL". And, what do they do when a woman feels she's had enough kids, and the milk stops flowing? Get her pregnant again anyhow so that the milk keeps flowing? A group of cows that give milk is a "herd of cows", but what does it become when it's women... Herd, also? Group? Gaggle??? Or will it be a "Harem"???

Save the cows and save the calves... Do I see a SACRED COW in here somewhere?

One place where I worked 20 years ago, I heard a comment about the women working there... "DON'T OPEN THE BACK DOOR OR THE WOMEN WILL GO OUT AND GRAZE"... While I did not think that was very bright on someone's part... But perhaps, we should have someone open Tracy Reiman's back door and see if she will lead the HAREM out to graze...

BEEF... It's what's for dinner. Or is Tracy Reiman a "veggie"??? And, if she serves beef at her table.... Ummm.....

On the farm where I grew up, we had one bull to take care of all the cows...
Ok... I'm going back to my corner now....

There are side effects to breast milk to consider. :?

Opie and Anthony did this stunt on the Friday program. They said it tasted ok but had a horrible aftertaste. What is PETAs purpose? Suggest something so outragous to get publicity? Are they so far off the radar they have to stoop to this level so people don't forget them?

As I understand it, the "HEALTH" of the donor could be a very serious factor. Milk is a "BODY FLUID". And, I know that about 15 years ago, Northern States Beef started testing cows for AIDS before slaughtering them. I would not want to be a party to any ramifications from that corner.

Sounds to me like PETA can go right into the same round file as PATT and CRASH. They've all got the same brilliant mentality. Anybody have any ideas as to how to expose them to the public for what they really are?

You know... You're going to have to give that poor dog a coffee-break. Making him/her work all this time, not even switching paws could be considered CRUELTY. As tired as he/she has to be by now, I'll bet you don't even feel it anymore... You'll have to get someone with one of RD's paddles to take over...

I for one support P.E.T.A. :

During the news broadcast, they did have a B&J spokesperson that did say they were considering it, breast milk is much healthier, she said,

Also, maybe the Netherlands, can't remember which country is currently using breast milk in their products. "sic"

Just "ribbin' you" about it. you know... All the "cruelty to animals" things.
I'm not offended or anything. But it certainly is unusual.
Don't change it if you don't want to. It's novel.

:D :D Welll...I DO like the essence of the pic (all cruelty to animals aside...). Every other "smacking" pic I have found is pretty darn risque and would offend some people more than I probably already have. But I'll keep looking for something else for a change...it will still have to shout my name, though...
