i hate this time of year, the half truths and out right lies disgust me and i find myself yelling at the tv more than normal.

I used to hate the ads before they even started airing. They would be a major nuisance, but since I abandoned network TV several years ago I don't care anymore - because I don't see them anymore. Besides that, these ads have NEVER changed my position on ANY candidate...I have already decided long before the ads start airing who I will vote for and have NEVER been compelled to change my mind due to some stupid paid advertisement.

Hmm..... I don't remember voting in this poll, but it says I HAVE! Not only do they want to limit my smilies... but also to subvert my vote!
![]() The ones I hate MOST are the local and state ones. I don't pay alot of attention to local politics, and don't know that much about either side's candidate. So, if I believe half the stuff they say about each other, I have to believe they are BOTH crooks, liars, or imbeciles.... and I am left with none of the above.
