Default Liquid Transport Corp

Know anything? I'm looking at the KCMO terminal. I'm an owner operator but I'm interested in anyone who knows anything about the company. I've PMed my homies on the board but maybe there is a company driver who can say something helpful. TIA

Ouch! I can understand if that's all you want to say. But if you want to throw in a few details, I'm listening.

There were a couple tanker yankers who PMed me about the job opening, I'm getting all the info I can. I grabbed one of their guys out in the parking lot and got him to give me the skinny. Yeah, I'm asking around, that's one bad comment compared to a number of others.

I don't know where to go. The terminal in KC is really nice, a palace if you consider that tanker terminals can be real ratholes. They're saying these guys do $200,000 easily, that's the kind of money I was looking for when I went into debt for all this equipment.

$200,000  Hell, sign me up to. Let me do some looking into this to then. Oh, I forgot. I know nothing about yanking them tankers around. But it still sounds good to me. BOL

The $200,000 is the dry bulk guys and you better be in that click or you'll starve. The chemical side doesen't do as well. Liquid Transport other than their dedicated work will chew you up and spit you out and get another truck to replace you. The dedication to their drivers has gone since Rex sold the company.

That's why I got all this equipment and made the leap. Sounds as though it's not uncommon in tankers, I just haven't found it yet. Come to think of it, I'll go check Mike3fan's numbers now, I bet he's close.

Too bad, because dry bulk wouldn't surge and put that extra stress on your drive train.

I appreciate your posts, Sammonman. I've made one mistake, I don't want to make another. Tell where is a good place to go to pull chemical tankers if LTC is bad.

Try Superior Carriers, I know Cyanide pulls for them and I think he is an owner operator with them.
