I like mine scrambled with shredded cheese a majority of the time, once in awhile I like them plain with syrup. I haven't had an omelet in I don't know how long. I usually eat fried eggs with fried ham or bacon on some bread.

What the hell is it with syrup on eggs? Is everybody out of their mind? My wife and kids all eat syrup on their eggs. *gag* I can't figure it out. :?

People freak out when I put ketchup on my eggs. When you are having waffles or pancakes the syrup just get mixed up with the eggs.

Ketchup on eggs? That's an eyebrow raiser, but not as bad as syrup on eggs.

Syrup is for pancakes and waffles, period. Of course, I put eggs on my pancakes sometimes and other times I put peanut butter and jelly on them. :)

But syrup on eggs? Something is wrong with you people. I'm having my whole family committed.

I put ketchup & hot sauce on my scrambled eggs all the time. Salsa is ok in a pinch.

Syrup makes scrambled eggs taste sweet and much better!

Twilight you should try it sometime it's good and if you don't like it I'm sure your wife or kids will eat it!

My preferred method, too. See, Rev is normal. The rest of you need professional help. :?

I said I don't do it often, most of the time I put my egg on toast or bread so I don't need professional help at all! :P

ARNOLD...

I know a number of people that put ketchup on their eggs. Same folks seem to put ketchup on their french fries too. Never heard of syrup before.

I'll take 'em poached (soft), soft boiled, easy-over, fried in the middle of a hole in a slice of bread, scrambled with chorizzo in them. Can eat them a different way every day, and not have the same way twice in two weeks. Restaurants don't seem to have that many choices available, so I generally get mine easy-over there. Unless they're scrambled on the buffet. Then, put country gravy over them. (drooling smiley)

Scrambled, runny, and hard boiled and a egg sandwich is the worst tasting thing ever invented.

We call them Birds Nests. Cut a hole in a slice of buttered bread, put the bread in the pan, break the egg into the hole. :)

I take a short-cut. I put about a tablespoon of butter in the pan, get it hot, then dip both sides of the bread in it, then drop the egg in it. It's faster that way.

i go with ketchup and lots o' salt on my eggs. syrup makes them icky. i always request to have my eggs on a separate plate when i'm eating breakfast. i don't like it when the syrup and ketchup mix together. it's a very strong, sour taste that i cannot stand. it'll wreck my appetite.

I do that, too. Call it one-eyed toast. But I dip the bread in french toast batter first (egg & milk).

Good stuff. But I still don't put syrup on it!

My kids love toast/eggs that way...we call it "One-Eyed Jack"...

Not real choosey. Generally, if they're on a plate, they're fine.

I remember back when I was younger, I once asked my girlfriend (not the one I married), how she preferred her eggs.

Her reply: Fertilized.

Actually, there is a noticeably different taste if there is a rooster loose in the hen house. There are people that can tell the difference and prefer the taste of fertilized eggs. I prefer the taste of brown eggs over white one. So, while you chuckle about a response that can be taken two ways, she could have been very serious...
Of course, I don't know her, so I could also be way off base too.

I use to go to this restaurant that made what they called "The Swedish."
It was toast, hamburger pattie, grilled onions, topped with an egg over easy...and of course your choice of hot sauce. mmmmmmmmm :p

Scrambled or Omlette sprinkled with Tabasco

That's a breakfast that wakes you up. Even better is Sriracha Chili Sauce.

You forgot to include boiled and poached in your survey. I like boiled, scrambled, fried (over easy) and omelets. Basically, I like them about any way that they can be fixed. There is nothing like a good western omelet, fruit and toast.

There used to be a restaurant in Lebanon Junction, KY that fixed "BREAKFAST IN A BOWL". (before Pilot took it over) Hash browns, eggs (the way you like them), sausage patties, biscuits, all covered with country gravy. Used to stop there like going to church on Sunday. Since it became a Pilot, I don't even slow down anymore. But, I wouldn't mind finding someplace else that serves them that way. Sure was good.

I musta missed this when it was originally posted, but trust me, if you ever met her, you'd know that she wasn't talking about chicken eggs. lol.

I like em scrambled, but in a pot not on a grill. Cook much more even and taste much better. You can really taste the difference.
