Ok, I ask this because-- I've had XM radio now for about 4 months. And that's ALL they advertise ALL day long.

Now, I know satellite radio wouldn't have made it Primetime-- if it wasn't for
truck drivers--- they are the largest group of customers---- and since the advertisements are what's really paying the bills at XM and Sirius---just how
many of you guys tried these?

so bob, you like the soft tabs?

Wait, they have ads on XM?!? You pay for the equpiment, pay for a subscription, and then they have ads, too?! Jeez, that's ridiculous. I'll stick with my iPod. At least when I come across a podcast that's got an ad in it, I can skip through.

Siruis has no ads on the music channels and a few ads on the talk channels, but nowhere near the ads the free stations have, My receiver has a 45 minute pause and rewind,so I can skip through ads also

was your ipod free? is your content free? I pay for service, you pay for downloads. what's the difference?

I've paid for some downloads - but not for podcasts, I stick to the free ones. About 70 or so of 'em, from old Jack Benny shows to Kevin Smith's podcast to 12 Byzantine Rulers. I'm thinking about trying one of the 'learn a language' ones, too. My wife speaks pretty good Italian, and it might be fun to know.

If a woman knew about 'male enhancement products', I'd be looking for scars.

You think any guy is gonna admit to using one of those products (except for the pic of the one posted)? You know how guys talk - we're always willing and able for multiple rounds that last for 12 hours.

you're right we might be "getting off" the main topic-- perhaps we should erect a new thread--as this one has reached it's "climax".

Don't you cook too? You could make millions renting your self out. A man who cooks, does the dishes and takes out the garbage too without being asked? I'll rent you myself.

I do. Often.

My wife might have an issue with that. :)

You'd make a good house husband when you retire. Now can you teach my husband to do those things, voluntarily?

I do those things voluntarily because then I get to do manly things like watch football (well, my wife watches, too), play games, and generally act like a loon, without getting in trouble. :)

I see that the "barter system" still works in some places! Good for you!

Naw, it's just that I've learned that I can balance being a "guy" with being a "husband." Makes both roles more enjoyable.
