Default Coming back from Afghanistan

Coming back from Afghanistan
I left Schneider National with two weeks notice and I had driving for one year in Kandahar area, supplying ammunition and parts to Fob’s
Recently I replayed to Schneider again but after recruiter told me that he is going to hire me I never received the phone call again.
Do you guys think that recession already hit the trucking industry and there are not many jobs on the market?
Could you share you experience with the recent situation on the market, loads

I live in Ottawa, Ca but can move anywhere from Montreal to Guelph, London,
Tennessee
Thank you
J

I am not sure but it could be that you do not have enough recent experience in the United States. From what I have read on other threads and other post sometimes if your experience is not recent OTR in the states they require a refresher course.

Do not give up and keep calling until you get an answer! You will find something sooner or later.

Best wishes!

The only "recession" you hear or see is what the govt. wants you to see and hear. I have seen more company trucks than ever with stickers on trailers looking for drivers. Trucking is not going to slow down, people will continue to buy goods up because a lot of it is necessities. The only slow down right now is the normal winter time slow down.

Keep pressing the issue if you really want to drive for SNI again.
