The past couple of days I'm having some trouble with the log in. I've got it set so I'm automatically logged in. I checked the box as required so I don't have to manually log in each time. For some reason though it's not working now. It's asking me to log in each time. All my computer settings are the same. I haven't changed anything or added any programs. Is anyone else having the same thing happen? Thanks. :)

My guess is that it's on your end - clearing out your browser cookies will clear out that auto log-in and you'll have to redo it. I'm guessing that's probably what is happening.

I have tried that several times and it's still not working for me. Everything on my computer is the same as it's always been. Nothing new added or changed. It's got me stumped. :?:

It does time out, too. Not certain what it is set to, but if you're out logged out or logged in but inactive for a certain amount of time, it will automatically log you off the server. As far as I know, that's always been that way.

Mine does that. If I run outside for something for some time, and then I come back, refresh, it sends me to the log in page.

Nope, sorry guys. I've been able to read the boards, close the page and not return till the next day and I was still logged in. Now if I close the page and try to return awhile later it's asking for log in again. Go figure. :?: :?:

Sounds like to me, you have deleted your temporary internet files, and cookies. Every time I do that, it will also require me to log in when I come to the forum.

I have been reading over the forum tonight, and for some unknown reason, I have had to log in every time I returned to the forum, and I have the check box that asks if you want it to auto log you in each time you vist(or something like that), checked. Call me crazy. :|
Anyone else having this problem? :P :?

Yes Jackrabbit. Like when I started this thread about that I'm still having the same problem. Been 4 days now that it's going on.

Same here. Haven't changed anything on my end.
Previously I was logged on automatically whenever I visited here, for months at a time.
The last few days I have to log in again if I don't visit for more than an hour or so.
Yes, I have been clicking on the "log in each time I visit" box.
It is happening to me too. I'm ok with it if that's the price we now have to pay to have a cleaner board.

Same here with the logging in. The only time I've had to manually log in is when I go home and use my home pc to get on CAD. Then, when I get back on my laptop I had to log in again until the site either timed out or I went back to the home pc.
Now it's pretty much every time I leave the site.

Yeah, it sounds like there is a malfunction in the server, or waiter, or hostess, or something. :?

 You bums are all just behind on your membership dues.
That slot on the side of your computer takes bills.
With the tighter securities...the system is limiting privileges on delinquent accounts. :?

I don't have any issues at all. Still works fine for me. Who cares about the rest of ya!
:P
Seriously, though, it's rather strange. The fact that it is happening with some posters and not all, leads me to believe it's on the poster's PC side. But then again, stranger things have happened.
We all have to do the cookie dance now because I just installed an Auto Cookie Mod that will fix a lot of the issues for us.
The cookie dance goes as follows;
step 1. log out
step 2. clear your browser cookie
step 3. clear your browser cache/temporary internet files
step 4. close your browser
step 5. go back and test
step 6. hold one foot in the air and spin around three time
singing "Do the Cookie Dance, yeah, yeah, yeah."
done.
You and your users must clear your browser cookies and cache, and close and restart you browsers for these settings to take effect.

Since I didn't want to lose all my cookies right off the bat, I exited Internet Express, went into Internet Explorer, deleted the 2 (name)@classadrivers.com cookies and restarted IE.
All is good now.
