Why don't we offer a sticker we can prominantly stick to our trucks so we know who other CAD members are out on the road. We could stick it in a certain agreed upon place so it would be easy to find. I, personally, would like to meet and greet as many of you as possible.

Explain what CAD is, then get them to advertise. :D I was thinking about what if your employer didn't want you to place a sticker on your truck, my solution was to put it on a piece of cardboard, then place it on your dash. Be inventive.

Yeah that'd be awesome. I've often wondered how many of my fellow CAD drivers I've passed on the road or in the t/s's. I forget who it was now, but I sent someone on here a PM because after reading their post I realized that I was in the same T/S as them on the same night and didn't even know it :)

SO yeah... I vote FOR a CAD sticker :)

i like the idea also. definitely have to come up with a good place to put it on company trucks, where it could be moved if you change trucks, quit, or even fired.

What if instead of a traditional sticker, it's made of that vinyl plastic thingy......like what these quick oil change places (autos) use to write your next oil change on and stick to your windshield.

This way it can be easily removed and placed on your new ride.....just a thought

you could even go one step further and leave a small blank spot on them so that a person can write his/her CAD screen name on it

Actually, there are many companies set up to do that. When I was running my Gunsmithing business, they would call me all the time pushing calendars with your logo or saying or whatever. You could have it made in the diamond shape at the top of this page and like devildice said with a place to put your screen name. I would buy at a minimum of two.

We could use that diamond at the top of every page or we could do something to display the great variety of people we have on here like say a rainbow sticker......Wait, I think that one is taken.

Hey, what's the latest. Any progress. What if I took it upon myself to come up with a sticker and or patch, do I have CAD's permission. I can get them made relatively cheaply down in Mexico. There have been a few suggestions. Maybe we can come up with a few designs and vote on them. I'm more than happy getting them made. What do you say CAD?

We will look into having some made and bring them to the Dallas Truck Show (stickers). If anyone wants to submit a design, I will look it over and get quotes.

If anyone is interested in shirts, I guess I could have some made at cost. Contact me about this...

In that case my other idea was Air Fresheners, that could be hung off a mirror by an elastic cord... Still removable, just have to figure out which mirror you would like to hang it on... Cheap to produce, and you could buy a package of them, like you do any other automobile air freshener... Now, you would just have to decide on a scent...

Ooops, I feel another Survey Says coming on soon...

We already give out branded pen holders that clip to visors at the truck shows.

I think the original idea was to publicly display support of the forums at Classadrivers.com by using stickers of some sort whether they be window decals or bumper stickers, or magnets, etc...

Also, we would make shirts to sell to anyone who wold be interested. I can get them made pretty reasonably here, or we could set it up through some vendor so that folks could go in and order their own from customink or some other branding/printing/embriodery company.

Now, if we decide on a design, what size would we need for the trucks or for cars?

I see that some standard sizes are 9 X 3 (that is the standard used in my previous designs above) and a 15 X 2.75

Anyone have any other sizes they think would work best on the trucks?

CAD, of the two designs you've created, the second with the heart is the best of the two...

While the first one is amusing, it sounds more like a promotional bumper sticker for a garden club organization...

As for the Air Freshener idea, you could offer them in those cologne scents... So, whether your a woman, or man trucker, your truck can smell shower fresh, even if you don't...  8)
