if you use a board how many loads do you get from it a month?
or do you just call around to companies you done business before and see what they got?

I will only get a few now and then. Because if they are paying well they are gone pretty quick. I have the best luck by posting my truck with availability and the area I will run. I have hooked up with some good local brokers that way. They pay much better that way also. Most of the time they have loads you don't see on the boards.

If you sign on with Landstar you will be providing your equipment to a company that has none of their own.
Watch out for their "agents" (aka load pimp) that run their own fleets that need some Business Capacity Suckers to haul the freight they don't want.
Did I tell you about Landstar Logistics.
