Default Prepaid Lawyer?

Forgot earlier to mention I am new to the board. I have been impressed with all the good info that you have here. At our school we had a visitor from a company that provides truckers with prepaid lawyer services. I was just wondering how many guys use this service? The lady said it runs about $33.00 a month.

Default Prepaid Lawyer

Do you have prepaid legal services now? You'll pay someone $400/year for a service you don't have now? Why?
Hate it when schools bring these bottom feeders in to make a pitch to a captive audience. BOL

Well it's good for something's but if you read exactly what they cover it might not be good for you, one thing I know off the top of my head they DO NOT cover is divorce. I think DUI's is one also but if the things they do cover are good for you It's not to bad of a deal. The way I see it if you can pay $30 bucks a month for a lawyer a phone call away, not bad, just make sure if you are driving a truck that if something happens on the road that youll be covered.

I had Prepaid Legal for awhile. I got a ticked and called them. Their best advice was to get a Lawyer if I wanted to fight the ticket. I kind off figured that out on my own and didn't need them to tell me. They would refer a lawyer if I didn't have one. I was so impressed with their service or lack of service that I cancel that same day. I found it to be a rip off.

Ya I was actually going to try to sell Pre Paid Legal in my spare time and after I read all the stuff they did not cover I did'nt feel right trying to sell someone something that they probably could not use, because some of the thing they dont cover can and will happen to every day folks. But they wont tell you the stuff they dont cover only ideas what they do cover

been driving 11 years and never had a need for a lawyer. Run legal, safe, and common sense, and you should be fine.
