Anyone know how cost efective these might be and the best place to buy? Guessing wallyworld but where else?

They cost about $7.50 each new, perhaps less by the case. They are high in calorie and fat contend and low on substance. Meaning that you can eat one and still "feel" hungry even though you have had a balanced meal.

You might check Ebay, since I heard a rumor about people who hoarded them (and other gifts from the government and red cross) after hurricane Katrina may be selling them now.

Also a lot of the online survival stores sell them.

ate a ton of them-They're very good and life expectancy is like Forever :P
My favorites were the Vegetarian ones-the Meat dishes all tasted the Same.

Just wanting to let you know they are designed so you only need to eat one a day 2000 cal per bag, so if you only eat once a day they would be very cost effective

They are also really designed for extremely high activity levels. If you are not up and moving most of the day all they are going to do for you is pack on the pounds.
