Looks like the 4 wheelers are too dumb to stay in the right lane where they belong.

some states enforce slower traffic keep right laws, some dont, some dont have em.

Fredog 08-21-2011 12:55 PM

in both cases, the cars were doing the speed limit, I agree they should move over anyway, but that's no reason to risk killing them

What was the '20 on that Werner wagon? I'm pretty sure that wasn't one of our boys if he was going 65 (We're stuck at 62).

actualy I seem to recall some of thier trucks going quicker if you were on the lease side. Eather way, 62 65 or 55 tailgateing with a vehicle that big is a big no no, I wouldn't even do that in my ford ranger.

Fredog 08-22-2011 01:24 AM

that was on I-65 south in Kentucky just before exit 2 where it goes back to 2 lane, I was surprised to be passed by Werner, I was going close to 65 when he passed

In Arkansas, it would be very difficult to enforce a "slower traffic keep right laws" what with there being highways splitting right and left and exits to the right and left and, if you are not in the correct lane to go where you are going at least 10-20 miles before the split or exit, you miss going to where you are going. I have only twice been able to stay in the right lane until just before 430 splits to go to Little Rock or to somewhere else and that was when I was coming home from a midnight showing of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie - the highway splits such that if you are going to Little Rock, you need to be in the left lane - I live in Little Rock.

I am agree with golfhobo. They are driving safe and medium speed. So nothing problem with it.

Hey, Fredog.... you get a new truck?

freebirdrfd 08-25-2011 02:31 AM

I still say that both cars are obstructing the flow of traffic, and should not be in the center lane

Stargazer 08-25-2011 07:08 AM

Here's an idea. Instead of putting up dull useless metal signs no one reads that say; "Trucks over 10 wheels must use 2 right lanes", put up bright flashing signs that say "All 4 wheelers gtfo of truck drivers way cus they're not allowed in the left lane and it ain't safe to pass on the right plus there's a slow truck blocking that lane which means they're more or less stuck in the center lane where you are driving too slow I might add and don't forget most truckers get paid by the mile not by the hour you silly wabbit and btw don't complain about that werner truck tailgating you cus he's trying to deliver the freshly baked crumb cake you were complaining this morning walmart was out of stock on okay? Thank you! - D.O.T"
