Saw 2 weird wrecks in 1 day

Wreck 1 - At the Pilot in Morgantown, WV, a driver pulled onto the fuel lanes. Unfortunately, he forgot there was a trailer behind him. The trailer was completely across the huge concrete barrier at the end of each island. The only thing that stopped him was when his trailer tandems hit the concrete. He also knocked one of the pumps completely off the island.

Wreck 2 - On the WV turnpike, just south of the southernmost service plaza (the one where they also do inspections), on the northbound side (where the southbound side is higher than the northbound), a driver went into the median, rode the guardrails before crossing into the southbound lanes, then went back off the guardrails. He ended up sitting in the median, above the wall, still upright and facing northbound.

Wreck #2 is the new WV Monorail the Turnpike Authority is trying out.

LOL - got a better look at where wreck #2 happened. Tell ya what - that driver's lucky that the retaining wall is a good 8-12" higher than the ground there - where the truck came to a stop, he was a good 4-5 feet higher than the road surface - that would've flopped that truck right over. Looks like it ripped out the fuel tanks and/or the oil pan - long trail of fluids leading to it's stopping location.

Took the dashcam out of the truck. It was working the laptop too hard, making it run too hot.

Yeah, wreck no. 2, someone told the driver it's ok to bypass the inspection station.......
