Hey I'm posting this because I know Glenn Beck has some fans on this forum and I'm letting you know that your withdrawals are over. GBTV.com is up and you can get your fix.

I'm wondering how much it costs and I'm not about to hand over a credit card # lol.

Please, no political rants on this thread. I'm sure Mr Beck is a wonderful human being and his mother must be very proud. I'm just giving a heads-up and I'm curious about pricing.

GBTV.com: The Home of the New Glenn Beck Program

    I found the pricing. $5/month or $50/year.

Ah, is that how his show's go? I have listened to him for a few minutes now and then while riding in the boss man's truck. He strikes me as a weasel who's just looking to make trouble and stir the pot on any issue he can whether he knows the facts or not. He does seem to have a lot of fans who are eating out of his hand, hence why he is getting his own TV channel now.

It's very simple if you don't believe him do your own research, btw if you're telling the truth how is that pot stirring ?

It's pot stirring when he's not telling the truth which he does tend to do now and then. I remember something about a month ago he had said, when someone in the studio I think called him on it as being a complete lie he refused to admit it and instead tried telling listeners the same thing from a different angle. He was still wrong but he wasn't going to let the truth get in the way of a good lie.

If I were to point out to you that a certain President that you probably admire doubled the national debt while in office that would probably stir your pot quite a bit.

I have heard him on occasion and it seems to me that he is right on the mark with much of what he states. I don't think that I would want to pay to see his show. I received an email and there is a 14 day free trial to check out the show. I don't know if Fox is involved with the new show or not. Fox caved in to boycotts of advertisers who decided to abandon the show. Whether you like him or not, he does challenge people to think. I do believe that his heart is in the right place. What he says makes some people uncomfortable. I think people these days need to be made uncomfortable. Many people are too willing to go along rather than stand for what is right. I think that Glen Beck forces people to confront their values to decide what is right and to take a stand. It is not always easy to do what is right. Nor is it always popular. Whether you like Beck or not I think that he is doing what he feels is right.

A television show hosted by a radio personality usually doesn't work due to the fact that by moving from talk radio to television, especially pay tv, alienates a segment of their core audience. I personally don't listen to Mr. Beck, I really think its time to move away from this pointless partisan divide and work as a single group to get this country going again.

In case this got lost in the dust bin of history, Rush Limbaugh had a tv show several years back that was a flop and it was on free tv. As far as listener numbers, Rush Limbaugh has many times more listeners per week than Glenn Beck. At least Rush claims to be right only 98.8% of the time, as stated by him when I could still tolerate listening to him.

Forgot about Limbaugh's show, probably because it was such a flop. Beck is/was the shock jock of talk radio.

MR Ford you are forgetting about the Great Howard Stern, The man, the Myth, The Legend, if it were not for him leading in the world of Shock Raidio, the morning zoo host like Beck and many others would have never been heard.. Howard had the vision of real honest radio back in the 70's and brought it to reality in the 80's long before Beck was around....

You can add the EtV Show Howard did for many years plus his channel 9 New Youk show and now there is Howard TV Payperview which does quite well from what i understand... Truly the King ofall Media...

No matter how much ppl hate Howard he has surpassed any other Radio host in the world in the terms of Listerners and of course Paychecks.... two 5 year contracts valued at $500 million each for only doing 135 shows a year on Sirius, not bad work if you can get it, Rush and Beck could only dream of making that kind of cash, yet I would'nt turn down their paychecks either....

Oh I didn't forget about ol' Howard Kentla. I was talking about talk radio hosts that deal with what goes on in Washington, Beck became the shock jock of that group. Howard really doesn't mess with that stuff the last time I listened to him unless it was something that actually affected him or his show. Like when the FCC was/is wanting him to chill out. Yes Howard led the way with what we now call Shock Jocks.

Limbaughs last contract was "only" $400 mil over 8yrs and he "only" has 14-30 mil listners a week, depending on who you believe. Stern draws about 25 mil a week, but what's $100 mil and a few ears between "shock" jocks?
