West Virginia Ranked First in Strip Clubs

“America by the Numbers” in Parade Magazine awards the state a dubious honor.
Parade Magazine compiled “surprising statistics” from coast to coast in this week’s edition, and West Virginia was named twice. The Mountain State had the most strip clubs of any state, according to Parade’s calculations. Springfield, Ore. had the most strip clubs of any city in the United States.
West Virginia also was ranked first among adults who reported having trouble sleeping.

The entire list can be found at: America by the Numbers | Parade.com.

    The "most strip clubs"???? Really??????

There are 4 within walking distance from my house... Or is it 5... And, the whole area is like that here. What do you have? One on each side of your house?????
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.

The area I live in is pretty small - the town I live in has maybe 3-4,000 people in it. The closest town of any size has maybe 15,000 people. At one time, there were 5 strip clubs between the two (none now).

In this area, the number of strip clubs is only exceeded by the number of bars. (and houses) We've also got women doing business along the side of hiway 19. But, if you don't know the woman, don't stop to pick her up. They also have policewomen that don't look any different, and they don't plan to make you feel good.

Must not be a lot to do.
    "Let's go strip!"
I don't know anything about West Virginia, but having that many in those small towns does sound odd.
I can just see old timers going...
