Looks like a Super Bowl party outside the White House........Good for us.
Sorry, I didn't see this thread when I posted mine.
He must have been laughing himself sick with us talking about him hiding in the mountains, in caves. The whole time, he was enjoying a million dollar mansion in the heart of town. Made us look like "SMACKED AZZES". But.....Osama bin Laden, the glowering mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans, was slain inhis luxury hideout in Pakistan early Monday in a firefight with U.S. forces, ending a manhunt that spanned a frustrating decade.
Abbottabad is home to three Pakistan army regiments and thousands of military personnel and is dotted with military buildings. The discovery that bin Laden's was living in an army town in Pakistan raises pointed questions about how he managed to evade capture and even whether Pakistan's military and intelligence leadership knew of his whereabouts and sheltered him.
Something tells me that THEY KNEW where he was all along. I don't see him hiding a million dollar mansion right under their noses. They weren't looking for him because they KNEW exactly where he was all along. That would also explain why the government of Pakistan was not informed of the operation until it was successfully completed. They would not have given us permission to remove "their guest".
Now is where Obama's "smooth talking" comes into play. To send troops into a foreign country without any notice amounts to a declaration of war. An "INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT". He's going to have to do a bit of that talking to make Pakistan the "fall guy" in the eyes of the world. I'm sure that Pakistan is a little less than over-joyed about this.
It was small contingent of US Navy Seals and CIA Paramilitary. And, they went by helicopter. Across 120 miles of foreign soil for a complete surprise. Didn't know we had "STEALTH HELICOPTERS", did you?
I give Obama credit on this one. Bush would have been shooting his mouth off and tipped his hand. If he knew about this one, no wonder he wasn't worried about the raids over Libya. America forgets about all that with the new sunrise.... And, the news.
Destroy the cities...and they will rebuild them.Destroy the farms...and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.
Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...and grass will grow in the executive offices.
The bill has come due.
( R E T I R E D , and glad of it)
They finally got him! Great job of our SEALS and our president!
I wonder how the CIA found his place. Did they act like Fletch, and wear a gown, and a beard??![]()

However they found him, glad they did!![]()
Maybe this will help bring our country together! Back to the Red White and Blue!
I have a question concerning the death of bin Laden and the conspiracy theory freaks:
Since they say the US government did the whole 9/11 thing, are they happy that Osama is dead? If so, why? According to them, he didn't do anything - we did.

Ahhh yes, the left has it's loonies too. I need to get out more I suppose. I didn't learn about this conspiracy theory until just a week or two ago. Of course these people are crazy, just plain crazy. Let me get a preventive strike in though before anyone quotes me lol. What percentage of liberals believe this nonsense compared to what percentage of conservatives are birthers?
Still though, point fingers at these nutcases all you want and I'll be glad to join you.![]()

My favorite quote about the 9/11 Commission's report has always been: "The only people who still believe that the commission's conclusions are accurate are those who haven't bothered to read them."
My personal belief is that anyone who believes that the merry band of raghats, including OBL, planned, facilitated and executed the events 0f 9/11 is either too lazy to look or is simply incapable of looking and reasoning beyond what has been spoon fed to them by government and government media. You're right, Malaki, he didn't do anything.
40 more freaks:
"Here are 40 experts, including the Chairman, 9/11 Commission, Thomas H. Kean, Former Governor of New Jersey and Vice Chairman, 9/11 Commission, Lee Hamilton, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Homeland Security Advisory Council ~ sounding off in short quotes about their misgivings with the 9/11 commission and the questions that are still smoldering ."
OpEdNews - Article: 9/11 QUESTIONS STILL SMOLDERING
Here's one of them:
Foreign Service Officer, J. Michael Springman ~ "Fifteen of the nineteen people who allegedly flew airplanes into buildings in the United States got their visas from the same CIA Consulate at Jeddah"
Here's a little history on OBL and his relationship with the CIA: CRG -- Who Is Osama Bin Laden?
If it makes you a little curious, maybe you'll look a little deeper. If it doesn't interest you and the government's version is still good enough, so be it. A lot of people still believe our government. I don't.

So, does that mean you're happy that Osama is dead? If so, why?
Simple questions.

No. I don't think I've ever been happy about a death. I'm trying to think if there has ever been a rah-rah, big story death that actually made me happy and none come to mind. There are some for whom I could see the necessity and maybe feel that some measure of justice had been achieved but no one that actually made me happy. There just isn't anything to be happy about. The face or the figurehead of "the War on Terror" is dead. The folks who were actually behind the 9/11 attacks, save for the few who were aboard the planes, are all very much alive and enjoying their freedom among us. That our government has sacrificed almost 3 times the number of lives to avenge his alleged victims just astonishes me. No joy there.
In fact, I'd be a lot happier if he had been taken alive and given the chance to tell his side of the story. Unfortunately, his side probably included a lot of stories our government would prefer we didn't hear. Alive might have been an option but it wasn't a priority, obviously. I'd be a lot happier if the concept of due process of law hadn't just been kicked into oblivion.

I love the people that still think there's any possibility that the US government "did" 9/11, instead of just admitting that we got caught "with our pants down", the way it actually happened.
Now - where can I get my hands on some of that "super thermite paint" they used?

Ike, there would have been no due process for OBL. Had we taken him alive he would have gone thru a military trial not a civilian one. He would have been given a death penalty if the military has that or life without a chance of parole. He already told his side of the story via Al-Jazeera anyways.
Lemme guess, the '93 bombing of the Towers was also our Govt.? I mean he did claim responsibility for that also. I guess him actually saying, "HAHA, we got you United States" is not good enough evidence to show he and his cronies pulled this off and not our govt.? Lemme guess we had a part in the London Underground bombings with the UK and pinned it on OBL also? Let's go back to 1998, the Embassy bombings in Africa that they laid claim to, must have been us bombing our own buildings right? Or 1996 when Clinton was just seconds from leaving in his motorcade in Manila? A message was intercepted by the CIA and the motorcade was stopped from leaving, a few minutes later a bomb was discovered under a bridge the motorcade would have passed over. I mean we set that up also right? For every conspiracy theory that has been tossed out there is a rational explanation.
You can go to youtube and find any number of how-to-make-your-own videos.
I love the people who look at the aftermath of the Pentagon "attack" and the Shanksville "crash" and see with their own eyes that no jetliner was present at either and yet still believe that they were there because your government said they were there.
I really love the people who, when confronted with the volumes of information supporting the indisputable conclusions of demolition experts worldwide who say the 2 WTC buildings were brought down by controlled explosions and yet still believe that for the first time in the history of steel skeletal buildings, fire caused them to collapse in a pancake fashion at free fall speed in the manner of a controlled demolition and still believe that the planes brought them down because their government says the planes brought them down.
I really, really love the people who believe that WTC 7 must have fallen out of sympathy for the towers because there simply is no explanation other than controlled demolition which the landlord stated emphatically.
And today we learn that OBL was unarmed and didn't use his wife as a shield. You go right on loving whatever you like. I prefer the truth.

Lot's of people can not grasp the fact that a tablespoon of gasoline, if it were thrown on your body and set on fire, will cause such intense pain, you would wish you could die. It is harder for those same people to grasp the concept of an airplane carrying 23,000 gallons of jet fuel, or the fact that jet fuel burns hotter than gasoline, once it is set on fire. The two planes that hit the WTC, carried approximately 18,000 gallons of fuel for their trips to San Francisco. When the planes hit each tower, one of the things that happened, besides the fuel catching fire, was that multiple water lines were severed.
Now....everyone believes that "Water" puts out fires ........... right?? Well....all water does with a petroleum fire....(and Jet-A is a petroleum liquid)........Is spread the fire farther..... faster. That is why, when you see a gasoline tanker on fire, the fire departments don't spray water on the fire...they attempt to cool vessels that are not on fire, and they work at cooling concrete and steel structures that can be ruined by the gasoline that is burning. Unless they have foam for smothering a gasoline fire.....they just let the gas burn itself out.
Now....the WTC....once those planes and their fuel were burning......the burst water lines helped to spread the fires to multiple floors....BELOW the source of the fire (The airplanes and the Jet-A fuel). Add in all the wooden furniture, wall paneling and paper products that each floor held....and there you go.....two destroyed buildings!!! All those firemen racing up the stairways to fight those fires....should have turned the water to the buildings OFF, before entering them.
*sigh* Pack that information into your "Conspiracy" pipe and smoke it!! *sigh*
I think that the POS Osama bin Laden deserved to die..........and I do not give one rats azz that he might have been "unarmed" when he was killed! The POS learned at the moment of his death, THREE important facts.
1: He was not immortal.
2: Allah does not have mercy for mass murder of innocent people.
3: He wasn't getting 77 Virgins when he walked through the gates of Hell. Instead........He was chided by Lucifer. (Lucifer said to Osama, "I said to DUCK......not F**k!!) He was still welcomed with open arms and a cheesy smile though.
Enjoy your eternity in hell Osama. You deserve it.

If a military trial or tribunal was his due process, he's entitled to that process. We are a nation of laws. Our laws are there to guide our conduct every bit as much as they are there to address the disposition of an enemy. I'm not saying that he or any of his ilk are/were entitled to any of the protections afforded to me by the Constitution. What you fail to see is the precedent that has just been established here: The president has lowered the legal threshold for an assassination of an enemy combatant, in or out of combat, to mean, whomever, wherever and for whatever reason he alone decides. There's a Muslim cleric who's name escapes me, who is an American citizen, running around over there trying to stir up some jihad, apparently. He has been declared an enemy combatant . . he is a natural born U. S. citizen. He is under a shoot to kill order, courtesy of Uncle Sam. Is he entitled to due process?
As for the rest of OBL's indiscretions, for the sake of simplicity, I'm not going to address all of them. Can we stick to the one at hand? If so, where would you like to begin?

And....By the way......The skeleton frame of the buildings was not destroyed. In fact, the weight of the steel in those skeletal frames was what helped knock down WTC 7. Get all those impressive "demolition experts" that voiced their "conspiracy theory driven opinions" to explain how the elevator shafts acted as a two way conduit for the fires. While the fires were going down one or more of those shafts, air to fuel the flames and increase the heat, was jetting upwards thru the same shafts, causing a blast furnace effect, super heating the interior steel frame work, which collapsed under the weight of the steel and concrete above the super heated beams.
Remember......the buildings collapsed "inwards", down the elevator shafts. They did not tip over, they did not buckle outwards. They collapsed inwards, all due to extreme heat, the forces of gravity................and the very skeletal frame work you feel failed. The frame work did not fail at all. It was simply torn apart by gravity and weight. Osama bin Laden was a "Structural Engineer" by education. Even HE admitted that the towers collapsing was "Welcome and pleasing" surprise. He had just hoped to cause extreme damage to the upper floors of the buildings...by his own confession, freely given by himself to "Friendly" news reporters and broadcast facilities.
Of course....maybe he was just a skinny azzed liar.

Oh nice Ike, you'd rather stick to this one possible instance of something other than the "true" story happened. The other's don't qualify in your view?
The Pentagon was hit by a plane, they released a security camera video of the plane flying into it in 2004. You mean to also tell me the thousands of people working in Crystal City in the high rises and and on I-295 are full of it for saying they watched it come swooping in over them and then plowing into the Pentagon? How the people on the city street right there beside the Pentagon who were hit by debris? Here are photos from the Pentagon:YouTube - Flight 77 Evidence crashing into Pentagon Or this one, about the 1:26 mark, watch to the right side of the screen as the jet comes slicing in:YouTube - Pentagon Security Camera video from 9/11
You really ought to re-think your comments, loved one's were lost on Flight 77, try telling the families that their loved one's aren't actually dead if that plane did not crash. They would love to see them again.
In no way could we have gotten the explosives needed in place in time to bring both of the WTC buildings and WTC 7 down. Per experts who actually do demo's, it takes more than 90 minutes to do 1 building as large and strong as one of the WTC buildings from the top down like it fell and give off explosion flashes every couple of floors. There is way too much redundancy built into them for explosions to easily bring them down. Had their center's been blown out to make it fall like it did it would have had to happen underground at the footer's in the center. Those footer's were still intact even after the collapse. It pancaked in on itself due to the weight of the top floors coming down at once due to the fire. The little explosion looking flashes some vids show, power surges on each floor, again, no way could we have gotten that much explosive material in all 3 in such a short time.
