Default advise on purchasing a reefer

I am a new over the road truck driver. I team with my husband. We are interested in buying a reefer. I would like some advise from anyone with reefer experience or none. Thanks Sandy

You need to check the reefer unit and hours. I would also check the chute and floor. In fact, I would get underneath the trailer and look at the floor from the bottom. You may want to have it checked over by a shop to make sure everything is in good working order.

You won't find a bad floor from the bottom. The stringers rotting out cause the floor to sag and crack.
