Yea, I'm going hot shotting. 04 Ram 3500, 4 door, 4x4, Cummins power. Looking at a 40 ft goose neck, spread with electric disk brakes, all LED lighting.
Did some searching, thinking about going with ACME truck lines.
any input?
Thanks,
Rusty

Do you think a 40' trailer will be adequate. I know some who pull 53' trailers with a dually.
That is actually a bit more then they are asking for. 53, really?
I dunno. The oilfield has been really lean since last June. Have you talked with other "Hotshot's" and heard what they have to say?

I currently pull for a customer I brought with me to the company I drive for now. And I have spoken with several of the drivers for ACME and they are very pleased with the company. The customer is already using ACME and I would be doing the exact same thing, kind of a dedicated thing. And the person in charge at the customer has assured me that I would be doing the same runs if I went to ACME.. Plus, I'm wanting to move back closer to family and I have cousins and an aunt there east of Cleveland.
Thanks,
Rusty
Anyone else?
I need someone to tell me I'm stupid..
