If you were to suddenly have a million bucks, what kind of truck and/or trailer would you buy. I know, most of you are going to say if I had a million bucks I wouldn't be driving a truck, but just say you stuck to trucking, what would it be? Here's what I have had my eye on. I would add an APU to the truck and fuel tank fairings. Also 3/4 chrome fenders, and a tank to fender step/tool box on the drivers side. Satellite TV, BOSE stereo system, flat screen TV.

I would keep the trucks that I have rather than going out and buying something new. I would invest the money and keep doing what I am doing.

I would want one in the $25,000 range that way I could keep driving longer before going broke.

As far as buying trucks? I wouldn't get a new one. I would go find me an older 359. Fix it up a little..

Awwww, cmon GMAN and repete. Quit being sensible Let your hair down a little, so to speak, (unless your like me and don't have any). You don't have something in mind that you would say, man I'd like to have "that" truck.

Well, robertt, I have owned several different brands of trucks and driven others over the years. I just could not go out and spend over $100,000 on a truck. I suppose I am too set in my ways. I am happy with the trucks I currently have and would not want to go out and buy a new truck. I have already owned most of the trucks that I really wanted so I don't see a need to spend money on something that I have already owned or don't really want. I always thought that it would be neat to have one of those mega sleepers, but then I consider that I could not be able to haul much of the freight I haul so that would not be a good thing for me to do. I guess that I look at it a little differently. I know that owning toys won't make me happy. I would much rather have that money working for me than invested in another piece of equipment. On the other hand, I could take a million dollars and buy quite a few trucks and make a decent size little fleet. I could buy at least 10 and perhaps 30 good tractors and trailers and still have plenty of money left over for working capital. But then, I would have to go back dealing with drivers and all the things that go along with it.

I might play the stock market with a little of that money. I used to do pretty well buying and selling stocks. It can be quite a rush. I would not use that much of the money to play the market, but I might take a little of it and see what I could do.

I love to look at beautiful trucks, but don't like the price that is attached to them. I am content to just look and admire them from afar.

Can I do an off market add-on?
I'd like to have lights and sirens, for those days I'm just not in the mood to sit in traffic....
or waste much time at the loading docks.

I'd have an old 350 or 351 Pete and restore it, adding in some modern day conveniences.

Would love to see some pics when it's finished, or even before and current ones.
