    Default Frequent fueler card

I have a Flying J card. I got it several years ago. I also have a Petro, and Pilot card, but I haven't used them in years. I still use the J card. Not for diesel, but for gas, whenever I fuel my pickup at the Flying J here.
I was wondering what all is on my card, so went to the Flying J website, registered and all that stuff..

Come to find out, I have 1.03 points on it. (whatever that means)
I also have 5, $5.00 coupons, and 1, $2.00 coupon, which was issued on the 2nd of this month (2/2/10).

What do the $5.00 and $2.00 coupons mean? Can I use them to purchase things, or are those shower coupons? If they are shower coupons, I reckon I can use them in case I forget to pay the water bill or something.

What does the 1.03 points mean?

I'm guessing the points are redeemable for in-store purchases and the $2 and $5 off coupons are just added store coupons for reduced price on something when paying with cash.

I've still got all mine for when it's that time again.

The $2 and $5 coupons are only usable in the restaurant. You can not purchase store items with those coupons. Don't bother saving up for a new CB, you can't do it. However, I understand they are usable online, at Flying J's "E-Store". I have never tried that.

    Aint that some crap!
That's about right. That's just my luck.... Our little Flyin hook here aint even got a restaurant. It's a dag gum Wendy's. Even if those coupons do work at their Wendy's, I aint going in there. Last time I ate at Wendy's, (few years ago) I sat on the pot for the next couple days.

Well...maybe I can get something at their E-store.
Or I can take my laptop with me, next time I get gas. Go in, sit down, and get online.

Thanks guys. I was just curious what that stuff meant. I've always heard that you can buy things with the card.

I've used my Flying J Coupons for lots of things online. I've got my CB, Sirius Radio, countless antennas, and cd's. All you do is log on, purchase, and then it has a link when you check out to use your coupons. Also you should call customer service when you purchase online because you have to mail in your coupons. If not then the person doing the order could put the entire purchase on your credit or debit card. I usually got fuel at the Pilot and used their card, but it works different. I've never purchased online from the Pilot E-store either. Only problem with Flying J's estore is theres only limited things you can purchase. I have had my Sirius radio for years and it cost over $120 but thanks to Flying J i think i paid $10 or so.

don't give up hope yet... lol. I used those coupons top buy store items at one time... theres a kicker though. you gotta go to the restaurant register in the back next to the restaurant to pay for the stuff, and they can use the coupons. I didn't eat anything either just a hint
IF you're not tired enough after driving all day, check this online Trucking Simulator out. it's fun...

I was told the other day that you will no longer be able to use the paper coupons at Flying J after March 1, 2010. They will be issued to your Frequent Fueler Card.

I hope this is true as I hated having to collect them from my mailbox which I rarely get to. Far better to just use my Frequent Fueler Card to access my points.

I would prefer to have them on my card. It is much easier to use than keeping track of the coupons. It make sense since it should save Flying J a lot of money in postage and printing costs to print the cards. I would like to see the points as a total rather than having to use them in either $2 or $5 increments as we currently do with the paper coupons.

I've stopped doing business with Flying J. So, I'm not too concerned about it anymore.

No more Pilot, T/A, or Loves.

    Kinda miss the Petros, though.

I just happened to get an email from Flying J. Points are now loaded on your card.
